The Paramount Chief of the Buipe Traditional Area Buipewura Jinapor II has on Saturday November 21, 2020 disclosed that he has done a lot to help improve on the educational standards of his people in the paramountcy.
He said this during the celebration of the 2020 Damba festival at the Jinapor II stadium, Buipe.
He explained that education is the foundation on which all other sectors of the nation builds. A functional Education Endowment Fund has been set up to support education related activities and a Buipe Girls Model JHS parcel land has been allocated to the DCE to expand infrastructure in the sector.
Buipewura added that in modern times, education has been the centre of development. Pursuing education also enriche our knowledge, experiences, general and human capacity building. Mindful of this, I have established a functional Educational Endowment Fund to support education in the Buipe Traditional Area. I also released two acre parcel of land to the District Chief Executive, Central Gonja, for the construction of Buipe Girls Model Junior High School in order to promote girl child education in Buipe Traditional Area.
The traditional leader of the area, was installed as the chief on 13th June, 2008.
He expressed gratitude to all the chiefs, Queen mothers, heads of departments, security agencies, hon assembly members and all who made it to the celebration.

I want to also congratulate all invited guests for making time out of your busy schedule to celebrate with the people of Buipe Traditional Area. I am grateful to all of you for your sweet responds”.
