The Savannah regional Npp chairman Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana also known as professor Kalimonia by his peers on Thursday 27th November,2020 presented Cartons of Strong energy drinks,Voltic water, Hand sanitizers, Liquid soap and a set of Plastic chair to the the Savannah regional police headquarters.
He was accompanied by Hajia Zulfawu the Npp regional second vice chairperson, Kanyiti Suburu Kantama known by his peers as Alhaji Nabco and other Npp party faithfuls.
In presenting the items, Alhaji Kalimonia expressed how the general public and he in person as a leader of Npp was extremely impressed about the manner at which the police in the young region exhibited their good works during the voters registration exercise.
He urge the police to replicate same in discharging their duties on December 7 general elections
Hon Kalimonia expressed his gratitude to all the security services in the region and urge them to continue their high level of security service delivery standard to ensure peace before, during, and after the December 7 elections
He also thank Yagonwura Tuntumba Boresa and his chiefs, the Savannah regional minister and his deputy, all DCEs in the region and opinion leaders for maintaining peace in the region.
Alhaji Kalimonia indicated that, all past presidents owed the people of Savannah region since Ghana’s first republic.
“But thank God today Npp and Nana Addo led administration came and bailed them out by giving us a region which has been on the drawing board for far too long.”
He therefore urge the people of Savannah region to appreciate the Npp government by voting massively to retain the party for another four years to do more for them
“On December 7 all you need to do when you visit your various polling stations is to vote number one for Nana Addo and number one for your parliamentary candidates
Professor Kalimonia and his entourage at the Savannah regional police headquarters, were received by DCOP Mr Enock Adutwum Bediaku Savannah regional police commander
The commander thanked the regional chairman for the kind gesture done to the police and assured him of peace as expected during the elections
” We are going to be fair and firm in discharging our duties during the elections
DCOP Bediaku urge all to remain tolerant and abide by the laws not to fall victim in fomenting trouble
The police head assured that, Savannah region is going to be the most peaceful among all regions before,during and after the elections
