The MP for Salaga South Constituency has sponsored the production of music videos for members of the musicians association of East Gonja with an amount of Ghc 10,000.
The project is geared towards putting faces of our local musicians to the wonderful music they produce in order to unleash their talents and improve on their popularity in the music industry.
As a result, some selected musicians were given the opportunity to do videos of their songs at the expense of the MP which were yesterday premiered at the conference hall of the Kpembe ICT Centre with the Hon. Minister and the MD for Ghana water company Ltd as the special guests.
The MP reiterated his commitment to developing the creative arts industry in Salaga South including the promotion of music and artists from the Constituency to the highest level in the industry. The MP assured them that this is only the first round of videos he’s doing for them and tasked them to be prepared for the second round. The MP then disclosed that he will put up a quality recording studio in Salaga to ease their struggle in producing music.
It will be recalled that the MP has already sponsored the group to officially register and launch their association also sponsored them to procure an outdoor stage for their shows.
After premiering the videos, customized pendrives of the videos were handed over to the musicians by the MP and other dignitaries at the event.
The association on their part thanked the MP and pledged their support for him for all the things he has done for them and continues to do for them.
At the close of the program, the MP made a pledge of Ghc 500 while the Dr. Clifford made a pledge of Ghc 600 to a member of the association who is currently taking part in the chop the mic talent show on Sagani TV to keep him motivated to take Salaga high in the contest.
